I've been a designer and developer for over twenty years, and have a broad range of skills and experience. I bring versatility, creativity, and professionalism to every project, whether I'm designing a logo, producing multimedia, or creating a web application. I take a pragmatic, problem-solving approach to design, combining creative, analytical, technical, and project management skills to see the project through—from conception to completion.
My experience comprises design and production of graphics for web and user interfaces, web site development, print graphics, and information design for product documentation. I have also specialized in media for learning services, including production of eLearning products, audio recording and editing, video, and Flash development.
In addition to media design, I have the technical skills to plan and engineer web applications, such as a full-featured project management application I created for Sun Microsystems using PL/SQL and Oracle 10g. My skills include Perl, web client-side programming, prototyping, and Unix shell scripting, among others.
My background includes college-level teaching in graphic design.
